The Caribbean Growth Institute is a non-profit, non-partisan foundation dedicated to promoting growth in the Caribbean. We believe that economic growth is the best means to improve the live of the 44 million residents of Caribbean nations. Accordingly our mission is to promote best practice policies that foster such growth. Integral to our mission are the following services:
Promotion of best practice policies. We research topics and write our own white papers and case studies. Because we are not affiliated with any political party nor do we accept donations from anybody, we are free from outside influence. Instead our policy views are cultivated from leading economists and good common sense.
Non-partisan public policy advice and consulting. We provide advice to governments who seek non-partisan counsel. Such advice is provided on a pro bono basis. Accordingly, we select only the assignments which we believe have the greatest potential impact to stimulate economic growth and from governments that are open minded about improving policies.
Clearinghouse for non-partisan research. There is a great deal of research already published by many reputable institutions around the world. We cultivate the research that we think is most relevant for the governments we serve in the Caribbean and provide access online. If there is a research paper that we don’t have that you think we should let us know!
